Amuleek Singh Bijral noticed a gap in the market for hygienic and high-quality tea in Indian cities. In 2010, he opened the first Chai Point outlet in Bangalore with a simple goal: to provide freshly brewed, affordable, and consistent tea to busy professionals.

The idea clicked instantly. Chai Point introduced innovative solutions like the Chai-on-Call delivery service and smart dispensers called Shakti Chai, which made serving tea at offices easier.

Chai Point grew steadily, expanding to over 100 stores across multiple cities in India. It now serves over 300,000 cups of tea daily and has also introduced bottled and packaged tea products.
